The new collection, which is a fusion of modern architectural lines contrasted
with traditional tailoring techniques - continues to attract a loyal client
list of women in the City, making Liverpool Street the ideal location
to unveil our designs for the coming season.
This season we have partnered with Harris Tweed, renowned for its traditional quality cloth woven on the Isle of Harris. The Tweed has been utilised for a selection of exclusive pieces handcrafted at our East London studio factory, making this a truly British collection from fibre to finished garment.
*Blake continues to support WfW International, with a percentage of proceeds from sales donated to further the efforts of the charity, which works with socially excluded women in eight countries where war and conflict has devastated lives and communities. Funds raised go towards supporting women who enrol in a one-year programme where they are taught job skills and receive business training in order to become confident, independent and productive, embracing their own importance in rebuilding their families, communities, and ultimately their nations.

It is with great pleasure that we announce our most high profile event to date - a collaboration, among others, with jeweller Susannah Lovis at Burlington Arcade to previewing the Autumn/Winter 2012. Photos from the show here
We kicked off the season with a very exciting first time collaboration with the Hat-Gallery M/V. This beautiful store conveniently located in Kensington houses an exquisite collection of designer hats and accessories. The Hat Gallery M/V – London, Amsterdam and Düsseldorf – has carved a name for itself as a destination for milliners and clients alike. With a reputation for fusing high fashion head wear for both men and women with conceptual ideas, craftsmanship and design which married beautifully with our contemporary cutting and exquisite fabrics.
Our second London event saw us continuing our collaboration with Bounce Back in the amazing space which is also home to 300 original artworks, which form part of the Kardo Findlater Collection. Bounce Back is a London based charity that works with ex offenders, training and supporting them back into the work place. The young men and women benefiting from the charities support, worked hard to make the event a success by modelling clothes and serving drinks. Unsurprisingly the national press picked up on this unique collaboration and published an article in the Guardian.
Historically, Daniel Blake has had a strong following in Ireland and so this season Daniel continued to show his commitment and loyalty with a series of one to one consultations. Offering exclusive and personal service that is synonymous with the Daniel Blake Label, which his Irish customers have come to know and love.
